UXI STUDIO is an annual UX conference organized by the Israeli UX organization, UXI. It will take place on February 17-20 2013, in Tel Aviv and Petach Tikva, Israel. It will host 3 prominent international speakers for an opening evening and 3 full-day practical workshops. The entire conference will be held in English.

UXI Studio is a first of its kind in Israel: 3 intensive days, with 3 internationally-recognized speakers, bringing the cutting-edge of UX design to practitioners in Israel and around it.

The conference starts with an opening evening where each of the 3 speakers will give a one-hour keynote on a different topic. In each of the 3 following days attendees will be able to join 1-3 full-day workshop with the conference speakers.

The opening evening will take place at the Tel Aviv Academic College, 10 Hever Hale'umim st., at the Weston building auditorium, 1st floor.

Workshops, February 18-20, 9:00-17:00

• Feb. 18: To Boldly Go… From Information To Understanding, with Stephen P. Anderson
  Stephen Anderson, designer and creator of the Mental Notes card deck, believes that people must be emotionally engaged if you want them to exhibit a certain behavior. In this workshop, Stephen will share the process he uses to create simple visual representations to help people make informed choices and understand complex information.
• Feb. 19: Practical Agile Mobile Design, with Greg Nudelman
  Every element of this hands-on practical workshop follows the same purpose: Deliver effective mobile design patterns, Agile design principles and practical expert advice you can use to super-charge your mobile application. We help you "start with questions and walk away with wireframes."
• Feb. 20: Designing for Holistic, Cross-Channel Experiences, with Samantha Starmer
  Seamless experiences don’t just happen by accident — they need to be purposefully planned. In this interactive workshop, Samantha will share hard earned, proven techniques for designing for the full experience lifecycle across all channels and touchpoints.
